About Dehradun

Dehradun, the capital city of newly carved state of Uttaranchal situated at the foothills of Shivalik Hills is the abode of school education, research institutions (FRI, Wadia Institute, ONGC, IIP) and sprawling towards seat of higher learning. It is known for its greenery and aesthetic natural heritage and flora and fauna diversity. It is well connected through road, rail and air to almost all the major cities of the country.
