Pharmaceutical Sciences & Applied Chemistry

The school of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers systematic education on procurement, synthesis, formulation, standardization and marketing of Medicines. With invention & discoveries of new drug molecules the repertoire of medicines have grown enormously and the subject has developed into a multidisciplinary science.

Allied Health Sciences

This school pursues courses in Physiotherapy, Medical laboratory Technology & Medical Microbiology. The tailorly crafted curriculums on these emerging areas of biomedical sciences, earned the distinction of being, the first of its kind in the region.

Life Sciences

This school with emphasis on multi-disciplinary approach, offers courses in Biochemistry, Biotechnology & Microbiology. The Departments are also engaged in quality research work and have marked considerable progress. Faculty are engaged in investigations in the field of Bioprospecting, Biodegradation, Molecular Biology, Antibiotics, Proteomics, Immunology and Protein Biochemistry.

SBS ORGANISES SARDAR GURCHARAN SINGH MEMORIAL 6TH NATIONAL DEBATE COMPETITION ON 01 -02 MARCH 2013

The VI National Debate Competition under the aegis of Uttarakhand Technical University was organized in the memory of the Founder Director, Late Sardar Gurcharan Singh Ji by the Debating Society of SBSPGI. The topic of the debate was ` Is our Dependency on Advanced Technology Restricting our Thinking Prowess and Limiting our Abilities to Work?’ The competition was held in both Hindi and English languages on 01 – 12 March 2013. It was formally inaugurated on 1^st March 2013 by lighting of the lamp by the Guest of Honour, Prof.R.K..Singh, Controller of Examination and OSD Uttarakhand Technical University and Director WIET.
